Outer Zone Owner Arrested
Charged with Possession of Meth and K-2 with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of a handgun
Fort Smith, Ark.—On 11-15-13 Sebastian County Deputies were working a special enforcement assignment. During this assignment deputies observed a pickup truck make several traffic violations. They were able to get the vehicle pulled over around Wheeler and South A Street in Fort Smith.
Lt. Allan Marx and Inv. John Hicks of the SCSO began to speak to the two occupants of the vehicle. As a result of the conversation a K-9 unit was called for by the deputies.
While waiting for the K-9 unit the passenger, Jason Tuck, was asked to step out of the vehicle. When Tuck was asked if he had any weapons on him, Tuck announced that he had a gun on his person. Lt. Marx was able to retrieve a loaded .45 caliber handgun from Tuck. Tuck refused to submit to arrest. After his arrest deputies found a large bag of suspected methamphetamine in his front pocket. The meth later weighed at around 3 ounces. Inside Tuck’s pants deputies also discovered around 50 packages of suspected synthetic marijuana in a large freezer bag. A pain pill was also found in his wallet.
Tuck, 39 years of age and of Muldrow, was charged with felony Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver, felony Possession of Synthetic Marijuana with Purpose to Deliver, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Refusal to Submit to Arrest, and Possession of Schedule I/II less than 2 grams. Tuck is the owner/manager of the Outer Zone in Moffett and Bizzaroed in Pocola.
The driver of the vehicle, Jessie R. Wilson, 58 years of age and of Roland, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Drugs.
